    Hi Madison,
Thanks for your lovely comment. I certainly have ideas for a second EXIT book, but at the moment the next two novels are about quite different things…

    Hi!

    "Hannah" Says:

    Hi Harriet
I read this book for the shortlist competition and it was the best book because you couldn’t put it down. Whenever you wanted to something interesting always happened which made me want to read more. I was wondering if you had any other books like this being released. At the shortlist you mentioned that you got this idea from a dream and this made me start to make stories from my dream – thanks for the inspiration.
    Love Hannah

    "harriet43" Says:

    Hi Hannah,
So glad you loved the book so much. I have a second book coming out in January called Gravenhunger, and then The Hex Factor will be on the shelves in 2012. Good luck with your writing – and keep in touch!

    "jenna green" Says:

    Hi Harriet,
I also was at the Book Awards and got this website from the post card you signed. I go to the same school as Eleanor and Caitlin. I was at the Book Awards with them and it was nice to see that she had found the website too. I also agree with Eleanor, The Boy Who Fell Down Exit 43 is an amazing book. I had a week to read it but I was so gripped I finished it that night. I think it was unfortunate that it didn’t actually win. I’m sure it will get nominated for something else and I hope it wins!!!!!!

    "Eleanor" Says:

Just wanted to say thanks. It’s really nice that you’ve spent the time to reply!
    Thanks again.

    "harriet43" Says:

    Hi Martha,
ALL authors should reply to their fan mail, I reckon. If someone takes the trouble to write to an author then they deserve a reply. It’s plain good manners! Anyway, I LOVE hearing from my readers.

    Hi Tom,
Thanks for your great message. So glad you loved EXIT 43 so much. I loved writing it! Let me know how you get on with GRAVENHUNGER.

    "Hannah" Says:

Perhaps you can link Gravenhunger and Exit 43 together, to create a book where Phoenix discovers an exit?

    "harriet43" Says:

    Hi again Hannah,
I think if I suggested that to my editor, she might go a funny colour and keel over! But it’s a brilliant thought!

    "Megan" Says:

    Hi Harriet,

I won the prize for a book review in the East Sussex Schools Book Club this week! I did my review about your book, The Boy Who Fell Down Exit 43, and I thought it was brilliant! It was amazing and I couldn’t put it down! My prize was your other book, Gravenhunger, which was signed. I have just finished reading it and it is so gripping. I think both your books are superb – it would be so amazing if you could write a sequel to Exit 43!

    Megan

PS All my friends loved your book too!

    "harriet43" Says:

    Hi Megan,
That’s wonderful to hear! Do you go to one of the schools I visited when I was down in East Sussex in March? If you want a sequel to Exit 43 you’ll have to ask my publisher (contact them via the email address on the Contact Details page of this website). You never know, if enough people get in touch with them, they might just ask me to write another EXIT book. (I have plenty of great ideas up my sleeve for one).

    "Rosie" Says:
