  2. harriet43 says:

    Dear Oliver,
Glad you’re enjoying it! THE HEX FACTOR will be out in the autumn. Best tips for writing stories: know your characters inside-out before you start writing, and PLAN your story. Maybe one day I can come to your school and give you all a creative writing workshop.

    Dear Harriet
i think there should be an exit 123
under a rail road but you have to lift up a bit of rail to find the exit

    hope you like the idea

    Hi Harriet.
You came to St. Dominics Prior School in Stone on the 26th of April and you introduced us to your books. I have started to read Graven hunger and its amazing! I like writing but im not very confident and dont like to show my stories to people in case there not very good. I started writing a book a couple of months ago called “roof to roof” and i am about a quarter of a way through it! I got my idea from a dream as well. I woke up at two o clock in the morning beacause of my dream and i wrote down the main pin points of my dream. Your a great author!
    Love from Jess xxx

  15. harriet43 says:

    Hi Jess,
I was great to hear from you – and lovely to visit your school on Thursday. Your confidence will grow as you keep writing – and don’t worry about not showing your stories to people: I hate showing mine to anyone until they’re finished. Good luck, and keep in touch!

    HOW DO YOU DO IT
    YOUR SOOOOOOOOO COOOOOOOL!!!!!!

  20. harriet43 says:

    Hi Becky,
Good luck with your story. The best tips I can give you are as follows: read, read, read; keep a personal diary; start with an opening to your story that is out-of-the-ordinary and dramatic, so that the reader simply HAS to keep on reading. Hope this helps.
