    Dear Harriet,
Hi I was at your school vist on the 12/3/12 when 8 schools were all rammed into a single outbuilding. (I was the girl with the candyfloss monster dream I don’t know weather you’ll remember me) I am currently writing a fallen spirit type saga and was woundering if you could possibley share some tips.
    Yours book wormily,
    Candyfloss monster dream girl

P.S I can now top the Demonic Flying Mango dream with a dream I had lastnight in which a tunnaling strawberry came at me with a wooden club and then melted and remoulded itself into a a milkshake. What is with dairy before bed?

Hello Harriet! You told me to keep in touch, so I’m meeting your requirments.

When I heard about Gravenhunger I wasn’t too taken in by the plot. It didn’t appeal too much to me. When I read the book my opinion wasn’t changed too much. However, I am sure that you have written many brilliant books/essays.I think Gravenhunger just wasn’t the book for me.

Your talk at Blackboys school was AMAZING.

I can’t wait for The Hex Factor to come out!

I hope you are successful with your new book.

  9. Paloma Shemirani says:

    Dear Harriet Goodwin,
When I came to see you yesterday(12.3.12), I was completely absorbed into what you had to say about the exciting book, Gravenhunger. You were a lot more interesting than all the other authors I have been to see in my time.
I was especially interested about how your wonderful stories came to be, through a dream, running baths and a spooky old house.
Beside the fact that you did a very good job of advertising your book(s), I also learnt a lot about you.
I can’t wait until your new book comes out, From Paloma
P.S Why do your books smell of grapefruit?

    Dear Candyfloss Monster Dream Girl,
Best tips: read…read…read…keep a personal diary…start with a gripping opening…know your characters inside out before you start writing. Hope that helps!
